The best hostel experience I've had in roughly fifteen stays. Location: a seven minute walk from Hongik University station. However, this walk is gorgeous, down the "green line": a beautiful pedestrian parkway lined with cafes, bars, and touristy shops! It feels very safe even at late night, you are always surrounded by young people (both groups and solo). There is plenty in the area to eat and drink and our host even suggested a phenomenal k-bbq spot just around the corner. Facilities: easy to locate, down an alleyway so it was quiet and sheltered from outside noise. The community area is calm and tasteful, sometimes soft-jazz is playing. There is a well-stocked kitchen area with complementary teas, coffee, and Korean biscuits to enjoy! You would be able to prepare simple meals or store things in the refrigerator for later. Our room had AC that was blissfully cold given the summer heat, beds with soft sheets and blankets. We had a private bathroom (a luxury for hostels!) with shower and shampoo, conditioner, and body-wash provided. Not soundproof, but other guests were respectful and we had no issues with noise. Staff: I can't list all the ways the staff accommodated us. They were truly outstanding. There is a phone left in the lobby so you can contact the hosts at any time with questions, but typically someone is in the lobby area to attend to guests. Impeccable English which was unexpected but much appreciated! Food recommendations, transportation help, coordinating meet-ups or activities with other guests....We realized too late our American phone chargers used different voltage and our host provided us with adapters so we wouldn't have to go out and buy our own! A laundry service is offered for 5,000 won so you don't even have to fuss with dirty clothes. Mostly, we just enjoyed chatting with the hosts. Another guest realized she had made an error in her booking and came a day early...

I honestly LOVE this place! I booked four rooms, and each one is so unique and charming. My room, the Comfort Triple Room, was absolutely perfect—cozy, beautiful, and it made me feel like I was in a K-drama! The design of the room was so stylish. Oh, and my first experience with the electronic smart lock? Totally fascinating! The sound it made was exactly like in the K-drama scenes. Haha! I also have to mention the Deluxe Double Studio. We ended up gathering in this room late at night for some ramyeon, and the heated floor was a game changer—we all agreed it was the best room for those chilly nights! Now, let’s talk about the location—THE BEST! It’s super close to Hongik University Station and Hongdae Street. If you’re a fan of K-pop, the YG Entertainment building is just a short walk away! The cafes around the area are so cute and unique, and they serve some of the best coffee. If you're into thrifting, you're in luck—there are tons of amazing thrift shops nearby. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who wants to experience the local vibe! But what truly makes this place stand out is the staff! Every single person I met was so warm and friendly. The staff member who checked us in, despite us arriving late, was super helpful and made sure we had all the information we needed. The next morning, I met JY unnie, who was just the sweetest! She made me feel so welcome, even praising my broken Hangul, which totally motivated me to practice more. Hehe! And CY-sshi was also really kind—he took care of our luggage until we picked it up on our last day. Overall, I highly recommend this place! It has everything you need—charming rooms, an unbeatable location, and a wonderful team. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I stayed in an apartment. It was very modern, spotlessly clean, with the bedroom on a designer mezzanine floor. There is a large, private, terraced area. The apartment was well equipped, I booked a room with a washing machine and there was detergent available. It is located a short walk from Exit 3 of Hongik Station - line 2, accessible from both airport and two stops from Seoul Station. It is in a very quiet side street, just off the main street, which is literally full of restaurants and bars. The whole area it amazing, so vibrant and lively. The host is a genuinely nice guy, very keen that you have a good quality stay in his hotel, nothing is too much to ask. He is as extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and he is super eager to help, give advice, and ensure you have the best experience of his City.

Location is a solid 9.0. There are small cafes and food shops close by where you can buy souvenirs and food. 7-11 and GS25 is a short walk, too. It is is 5-8 min walk to Hongik University Station and a 10-min walk to Hongdae Fashion Street. Lim, the hotel manager, is so accommodating and allowed us to check in early. The guy receptionist is very eager to help and since our room is located on the 3rd floor, he helped us carry our huge and heavy luggages up to our room. You can take the ALL-STOP airport train from ICN (to and from) to Hongik University Station although the train gets too crowded. I will stay here again when I come back!

Cozy, clean, homely. Went during winter but floors were heated very well, did not feel cold at all while staying indoors. Room was clean and comfortable, everything required was provided including shampoo conditioner body wash and hair dryer. Location was good, a short walk from Hongik university station and hongdae street. Properly was surrounded with very good eateries that were a few steps away. Staff were really nice, welcoming and helpful in providing great recommendations for food nearby. Service was really great with replies in 1-2 minutes. Very good stay, will recommend!
